We welcome your observations and questions. The Philosophy & Ethics Library is maintained with care, but no catalogue is perfect. Your reports help us improve the accuracy and readability of every title.
When to Write
- Metadata corrections — If a title, author, or category seems wrong. For example, a book placed under “Metaphysics” that belongs in “Logic.”
- Reading difficulties — A file that will not open, displays garbled text, or fails on your device or browser. Please include the file format (EPUB, PDF, etc.) and your reading software.
- Accessibility concerns — Missing alt text, poor contrast, or other barriers. We aim to make every edition usable.
- Privacy questions — How your data is handled while browsing or downloading. We keep no logs and do not share personal information.
- Copyright or rights concerns — If you believe a work is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights and wish a title removed, please provide supporting details.
- General editorial observations — Thoughts on the introductory notes, reading companions, or category placement. We value thoughtful feedback.
How to Report
To help us act quickly, please include:
- The exact URL of the page where the issue appears.
- The full title and, if known, the author.
- The file format (e.g., EPUB, PDF, HTML).
- Your device model, operating system, and browser or reading app.
- A clear description of the problem: what you expected and what happened.
- For rights inquiries, any relevant documentation or jurisdiction details.
Our Address
send catalogue correspondence to r@upeju.com. Samuel reviews each message personally. We read every note and consider each suggestion carefully, though we cannot guarantee a reply to every message. We do not have a phone line or postal address for public inquiries.
What We Do Not Handle
This mailbox is for editorial matters only. We do not accept unsolicited manuscripts, promotional requests, or technical support for third-party devices. If you are having trouble with your e-reader or app, please contact its manufacturer.
Why Your Feedback Matters
Each catalogue entry — whether it is a reading companion for An apology for abolitionists or an edition insight for Icarus — benefits from the attention of careful readers. A misplaced category can obscure a work that belongs in “Political Philosophy” rather than “Ethics.” A formatting error in a PDF may make a passage illegible. By sharing what you find, you help us refine the collection for everyone.
A Note on Response Time
We aim to acknowledge every message within a reasonable period, but the volume of correspondence varies. If you do not hear back, it may be because we are investigating the issue or because your message was misdirected. You are welcome to follow up after two weeks if the matter remains unresolved.
Privacy During Correspondence
When you email us, we see only the information you provide. We do not add your address to any mailing list, and we delete correspondence after it is no longer needed. We never share your contact details with third parties.
